  • Tertiary qualification such as a bachelors or masters degree or MBA

Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong track record in CEO and other leadership roles of listed organisations
  • Experience across global markets
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organisational and leadership skills
  • Extensive experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing a vision
  • Excellent communication and public speaking ability
  • Information Technology sector experience, or alternatively, experience within an organisation that has made a significant investment and focus on using technology to drive the business.

Responsibilities:

As the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our future, building on our success to date and unlocking the exponential possibilities knocking on our door.

Leadership responsibilities

  • Engage with the Dubber board to develop the strategic direction for the company and to efficiently and effectively provide the required level of information to support ongoing performance management and measurement and the governance requirements of the company.
  • Partner with the ELT to provide guidance on operational and strategic opportunities, risks and issues as they arise; including provision of strategic recommendations to direct reports based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation and revenue/expense analysis
  • Develop business prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; investigate and manage acquisition and expansion projects; analyse organisational operations; identify opportunities for improvement and system enhancement.
  • Being the primary spokesperson for Dubber to external stakeholders, ensuring effective messaging to each relevant audience (as above).
  • Being an advocate for the company culture, always leading by example and building a global working environment of inclusivity and collaboration.
  • Cultivate relationships and maintain open communication channels with shareholders, (as above)
  • Develop and recommend to the Board, strategies for dealing with complex issues facing the organisation. Engage the Board around issues, trends and changes in the strategy, the operating model and operational delivery

Functional responsibilities

  • Monitor company performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimising the impact of variances
  • Maintain the company’s risk register and track mitigation actions.
  • Oversee financial performance and risk profile whilst ensuring that all compliance and regulatory obligations are met as expected.
  • Develop and implement operational policies that align with and that support meeting the strategy.
  • In conjunction with the ELT, develop the annual strategy update and creation of the annual action plans to be completed and tracked throughout the year.
  • Oversee the annual financial budgeting process and the implementation of budgets, to monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and externally
  • Drive and foster a culture and environment that promotes inclusivity, high performance and positive morale.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of key events regarding operations to all relevant stakeholders, keeping each group appropriately informed. This includes facilitating the development and management of an annual communications plan to ensure stakeholders are updated regularly through various face to face, and digital channels.
  • Overseeing the preparation and approving all operational and financial materials for Dubber’s board, including monthly and annual financial statements
  • Reporting to the board with accurate and timely information regarding Dubber’s overall performance, including strategy action plan achievement, sales, financials, risks, and compliance.
