Description:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. The CEO manages the overall operations of a company, including product development, marketing, communications, and logistics and ensures all adhere to Resource Recovery Center of Orange County’s (RRCOOC) policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
- Six (6) to 10 years of experience managing and/or leading as an executive
- Experience in organizational processes and development, including personnel management, and resource development, and strategic planning

Responsibilities:
- Report to the Board on the achievements of operational and financial goals
- Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.
Drive the company to achieve and surpass profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
- Lead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with the executive management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; provides mentoring as a foundation to the management career development program.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Create, communicate and implement the RRCOOC’s mission and vision, and overall direction.
- Ensure the direction is communicated on a level that allows every employee to feel as if they are part of something bigger than themselves and that their role is strategically important to the organization.
- Meet regularly with senior leadership to make sure that decisions the organization needs are well-thought out and timely.
- Oversee the complete operation of the organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.
- Represent the organization in professional association responsibilities and activities in the local community, the state, and at the national level.
