This Australian based, multi site leisure / hospitality business has been an innovator in their industry since its inception, over 20 years ago. With an entrepreneurial flair and demonstrated track record of success, they have further ambitious growth plans. They are now seeking an experienced CFO to lead the team and take them into the next phase of growth.
About the role:
Reporting to the Divisional CEO:
This role will operate at both a strategic and hands-on level and will require the successful applicant to immerse themselves in the business.
Overseeing the Australian finance team, you will be responsible for the monthly reporting to the Board, liaising with the auditors, and play a key role in the SLT within the business.
Engage and develop relations with various stakeholders across the business
Provide a credible business partner across the various different stakeholders
Develop the finance team, setting a high bench mark on key financial deliverables.
Understand and deliver key financial matrices across all areas of the business.
About You
To be considered you must be a qualified CA/CPA accountant and be able to demonstrate the following:
Proven experience as a finance leader, within a medium sized business (preferably entrepreneurial environment), that can combine commercial finance flair with business reality.
Proven financial skills including business planning and strategy, managing profitability, project management, formulating and monitoring budgets and financial reporting.
Experience in rapidly expanding organisations, preferably multi-site / hospitality / leisure / retail environment
Proven leader who can juggle multiple projects at any one time in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
