Accounting Finance Director/ CFO Melbourne Part-time

A large and rapidly expanding Independent Creative Agency is seeking a highly commercial CFO to join their Executive team and provide leadership to their Finance, HR, IT, Ops and Legal departments on a part time basis.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Working with the Executive team to understand each strategic objective and business plan.
• Presenting budgets and forecasts and business plans to the Board.
• Working closely with the CEO/ MD on potential acquisitions to diversify their service offering.
• Working with clients to develop competitive contractual arrangements.
• Providing decision support and training to Senior Management to improve their financial and commercial accountability.
• Ensuring your finance team deliver an accurate month end, budgets and forecasts, commercial analysis and statutory reports.
• Continous process improvement across all functions of the Agency.
• Implementing best practise accounting process and procedure
• Supervising, mentoring and developing your Finance, HR, IT and Legal teams.

All applicants should be CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 8 - 15 years CFO level experience in the Advertising & Marketing Services sector. This Agency is well known for its progressive culture and employee experience. They are seeking a like minded CFO who can help develop the finance function and commercialise the Agency during their next phase of growth. It is essential that you can communicate complex financial information to non-finance staff and have extensive experience in client contract negotiation and pricing at a C-suite level.
