The Company
We are working with a successful, well established and growing manufacturing / services business based just outside Brisbane CBD. They are looking to appoint a proven CFO in the day-to-day running of the finance team and commercial business activities. As a senior finance leader, you will support the rest of the SLT in all operational areas, including finance.
The Role
The CFO will provide the financial, administrative & risk management operations for the business, whilst assisting the CEO in further new business initiatives. The business has grown across APAC in recent years, and requires continued development whilst ensuring adequate systems and processes are maintained.
Further key accountabilities will include:
Work with the CEO and provide general support and guidance.
Direct the establishment of financial accounting principles, procedures and practices in line with legal and corporate requirements - APAC.
Ensuring that the performance of the Company is protected through the establishment of effective financial controls, implementing and maintaining appropriate management accounting and reporting systems, budgetary controls and expenditure procedures.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a FMCG related industry, preferably having gained both operational and corporate experience in previous roles, preferably across APAC. You will have a hands on nature, but also be able to see the bigger picture, able in integrate financial strategies and a sound commercial approach.
