Description:

The position requires an experienced Chief Financial Officer with previous private-equity experience who can lead the financial function as a partner to the CEO. You will be a hands-on leader capable of stepping in to develop and optimize the existing finance team while building out a robust finance and accounting function to support the growth of the enterprise. Experience in a tech-enabled business services context will be an asset, particularly with various types of revenue streams and complex revenue recognition. Best practices learned in a large corporate context combined with entrepreneurial, in-the-trenches middle-market experience will be an asset.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will report to the CEO and meet with the board members. You will supervise the entire finance unit and will be the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. The primary role of a Chief Financial Officer includes driving company finances, performing risk management, and deciding on investment strategies. You will execute all the strategic and day-to-day matters relating to cost-benefit analysis, budget management, forecasting needs, and securing new funding.

What You Need for this Position

  • At least 10 years of experience in a CFO or executive level role
  • Master’s in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • CPA – preferred
  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions
  • Up-to-date knowledge in current financial and accounting applications
  • Experience in developing budgets and financial plans
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated success in financial planning and analysis
  • Experience managing all aspects of financial operations
