CHARACTERISTICS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Ten-years’ experience in senior financial position with extensive administrative experience
• High level analytical communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Treasury management important

The Chief Financial Officer provides general direction to operations and administrative departments of the bank. Prepares information for all fiscal reporting and maintains a sound investment strategy.

• Oversees the financial functions of the bank
• Develops and implements financial institution fiscal plans and policies
• Presents monthly reports to the President for the Board of Directors
• Participates in determining deposit and loan rates
• Provides guidance and makes investment decisions
• Serves as a trustee to the pension plan
• Assists with major purchasing decisions
• Responsible for the ALCO committee and reporting
• Responsible for the investment/budgeting software including the model review
• Responsible for professional behavior when working with regulators, auditors and examiners
• Responsible to suggest ideas to improve the financial performance of the bank
• Advises executive management on issues including bonuses, corporation goals, budgeting, general ledgers, etc.
• Manages all correspondent banking including wires, Federal Reserve and tax authorities
• Secretary to the holding company
• Other duties as assigned
