Description:
A CIO position has become available at a leading manufacturing firm. The CIO will be responsible for the Technology roadmap and strategic decision-making, providing a clear vision to align and optimize IT operations in service of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the technology roadmap and strategic initiatives in alignment with the company’s business objectives
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of over 15+ reports, fostering collaboration, talent development, and performance excellence
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for infrastructure, systems & application, security, and external provider management, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Drive a culture of innovation within the IT department, identifying and implementing emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage
- Collaborate closely with the executive committee to understand business needs and translate them into actionable IT initiatives and projects
- Champion process optimization, lean practices, and agile transformation, driving efficiency and responsiveness within the IT department, as well as the continuous improvement and automation of such landscape and processes
- Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to IT and manufacturing, ensuring compliance and driving innovation
- Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and service providers, managing contracts, service level agreements, and partnerships effectively
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive committee on the performance, progress, and impact of IT initiatives and projects
