NON-TENURE TRACK

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking an experienced academically oriented senior surgical pathologist with rank based on academic record at the associate or full professor level to be Chief of Anatomic Pathology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MD or DO
  • Have certification by the American Board of Pathology in AP/CP or AP.
  • Subspecialty expertise in an area of surgical pathology and/or cytology
  • Eligibility for unrestricted licensure for the practice of medicine in Missouri.
    Columbia Missouri, the fastest growing city in Missouri with a current population of over one hundred and twenty thousand, is a mostly wooded area located where the Ozark Mountains begin to transform to plains. It is a college town, home to the University of Missouri (Mizzou), Columbia College, and Stephens College. Other nearby colleges include Westminster College, Central Methodist University and several community colleges. The public schools in Columbia are very good. With the University of Missouri HealthCare there is comprehensive tertiary and quaternary specialty medical care. The successful candidate will also be an attending physician at University Hospital. There are numerous opportunities for attending sporting events and concerts in Columbia in addition to events in St Louis and Kansas City.
