The Position
The Position Summary
As the Chief of Staff for the APAC Diagnostics Team you will play a key role in the effective functioning and strategic success of the APAC Dia organization. Reporting to the Chapter Lead, Strategy & Innovation, you will work side by side with the Region Head of DIA APAC as the “Chief of Staff” to the Regional Head as well as key members of the APAC Dia enabling team (ET)
In this role, you will be involved in the strategic planning processes across the organization through strong collaboration with key stakeholders and network teams. In addition, you will work with the ET to translate vision/ strategy to actionable deliverables and assist them in facilitating effective decision-making.. You will follow through and update the ET on progress of these deliverables as well as communication to employees through dashboard or other avenues. You will work with ET to prioritize on agenda and work through the backlog. And you will plan, convene and facilitate ET meetings to ensure objectives are achieved.

You will be responsible to:

  • Support Head of APAC Dia to develop short- and long-term priorities (business, financial and people) aligned to Roche Dia business objectives, to translate vision/strategy to actionable deliverables at all levels in the organization.
  • Serve as an enabling team member of APAC Dia and ensure the leadership team is setting and achieving outcomes, and focused on the top priorities.
  • Convene and facilitate the APAC Enabling Team meetings, plan the agenda and support the team in timely, well-informed decision making.
  • Design and facilitate effective meetings by prioritizing key objectives, balancing content review with discussion, and moderating dialogue.
  • Strengthen APAC ET cohesiveness by working with the P & OG team and regular exchanges with individual ET members.
  • Increase APAC ET effectiveness; Facilitate the formation of ET squads, make accountability clear, track and monitor APAC ET decisions and backlog; hold APAC ET members accountable to decisions and backlog.
  • Lead, supported by administrative staff, on all aspects of logistics and planning of APAC ET meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Region Head of DIA APAC and subject matter experts to develop communications and presentation materials for various speaking engagements.
