REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a COO or a similar relevant role, especially in the cosmetics and FMCG sectors.
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; MSc/MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the chosen candidate will be instrumental in guiding and propelling the company through a pivotal phase of growth and operational excellence. This role demands an individual who can not only navigate but also capitalize on the challenges and opportunities of a startup environment, particularly during a period of reorganization and integration with a new parent company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the daily operations and coordination of executive teams (including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Finance).
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing operational policies and procedures.
  • Assisting the CEO in setting strategic goals and ensuring their timely execution.
  • Managing the company’s operational budget and promoting profitability and growth.
  • Designing and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision.
  • Overseeing operations of the company and the work of executives.
  • Leading employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Writing and submitting reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
