EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS / BEHAVIORS

  • Ideally, you have previous experience as a Chief Operating Officer.
  • You have ten or more years of experience in executive leadership roles.
  • You also have ten or more years of experience in the entertainment industry with a special focus on live aspects,

including touring, exhibitions and music. A background in theatre is also an asset.

  • You have previous experience in finance, banking, mergers & acquisitions.
  • You’re a graduate with a degree in Commerce.
  • Your leadership skills are excellent, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  • You possess passion and knowledge of the entertainment industry including being up to date on entertainment

industry trends and news.

  • You have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track and follow through on multiple concurrent

projects to completion.

  • Your planning and time management skills are exemplary with the ability to adapt and produce positive results.
  • You have a willingness to embrace a unique, fast paced work environment.
  • You are a tenacious problem solver with the ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
  • You possess superior interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic personality and are able to work independently

and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

Reporting directly to the CEO, The Chief Operating Officer will play a pivotal role in transforming the business
operations landscape. You will be a strategic leader with a passion for efficiency and a knack for enhancing
business performance. As COO, you’ll spearhead initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resource
allocation, and drive overall business growth, while acting as a coach and mentor to a team consisting of
Executive and Senior level professionals. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have delivered a proven
track record of implementing innovative change management solutions, we want you on our team. As an
Executive leader on the Paquin team, the COO position stands to be at the forefront of shaping the future of
entertainment.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term

objectives developed in consultation with the CEO and division heads.

  • Monitor performance of daily operations, resources allocated and personnel with data tracking, establish

corrective measures as needed.

  • Assess current operational structure/practices and recommend/implement improvements.
  • Optimize capital investment for the business by assessing the return on capital invested.
  • Ensure profitability by optimizing resource utilization in all areas of the Corporation.
  • Execute improvements in daily operations, resources utilization and implement measurement matrix to

maintain focus on improvements.

  • Monitor client success, maintain relationships and hold operational leaders accountable for regular client

touchpoints and deliverables.

  • Oversee operations, HR, Accounting, Corporate Marketing to implement best practices.
  • Drive a culture that reflects Paquin purpose and values.
  • Prepare operational structure for growth.
  • Work with, Division heads to Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to

implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.

  • Adhere to company policies, provincial, federal, state legislations as well as industry requirements, enforcing

compliance and taking action when necessary.

  • Drive team cohesion to achieve a common goal.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with management, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
