Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s operational functions to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and ensuring alignment between operational activities and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within Finance or family office industry.
  • Experience working in at least 3 Asia-Pacific countries will be preferred.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and other members of the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company’s mission and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance operational efficiency across all departments.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes to ensure the efficient utilization of resources and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Implement systems and metrics to monitor operational performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies, fostering a culture of integrity and adherence to best practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and strategic partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operational team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders to drive alignment and integration between operational activities and other areas of the business, such as sales, marketing, finance, and HR.
