WE ARE HIRING A NEW CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER (COO) TO OUR EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM IN BREAS
At Breas we’re on a mission to improve the quality of life and care of respiratory patients around the world, and we plan to grow our business significantly in the years to come. We are now looking for an experienced Chief Operations Officer who wants to join us in shaping the future of Breas.
As our COO, you won’t just manage Operations, but you’ll orchestrate a symphony of efficiency, creativity, and growth for reliable and stable supply in a very dynamic environment.
At Breas we harness innovation and dedication to make real-world impacts on the lives of those suffering from respiratory conditions. As we embark on an ambitious journey to scale our Operations globally, we need a visionary COO to steer the ship.
The COO will be located at our headquarters and production site in Sweden and will oversee an organization of 100+ employees spread across four countries: Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, and China. The role will involve frequent travel to all these manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities:
Global Supply Chain Management
- Oversee the entire supply chain ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency within and cross functions, from sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics to manufacturing and customer delivery.
- Lead the planning process involving demand forecasting, production scheduling, and risk management to mitigate supply disruptions while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Implement lean methodologies across multiple global manufacturing sites to enhance operational efficiency and drive cost reduction efforts.
Strategic Development and Innovation
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships for supply chain business development, global footprint expansion, and ensure timely delivery with a focus on cost and sustainability.
Spearhead the investigation, design, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies, facilitating the introduction of new products and production line setup.
Data Analytics and Metrics Implementation
Establish key supply chain metrics and promote the adoption of data analytics tools to improve decision-making and enhance operational intelligence.
Customer Centricity and Sales Collaboration
- Lead the Operations interface with Sales for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) functions, collaborating with customer care to ensure high customer focus and order fulfillment.
- Foster a culture of globalization and localization in selected markets, innovation, customer centricity, and operational efficiency to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Leadership and Team Development
- Uphold product quality and ensure the implementation of corrective measures as necessary.
- Lead and develop high-performance teams, emphasizing the importance of a culture built on innovation and accountability.
