Description:

ABOUT US

The Minnesota JCC provides meaningful programs and services for people of all backgrounds, ages, interests and abilities that promote well-being, foster inclusivity, and strengthen the entire community. Guided by Jewish values and culture, our programs include Early Childhood Educations, Summer Camps, Health & Wellness, Recreation, Youth & Teem Programing, Adult Enrichment, Inclusion Programming, Senior Supportive Services, Jewish Arts & Culture, and Special Events.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our executive leadership team. Being part of our executive team means that you will:

  • Shape the future of the MN JCC. We lead collaboratively and want you to be a thought partner on key directional decisions that support the fulfillment of our mission.
  • Influence our organizational culture.
  • Work on enterprise-level opportunities and challenges that go beyond your functional focus.
  • Represent our organization both internally and externally with colleagues, stakeholders and community members.

We’re looking for an executive to oversee and drive excellence, innovation and growth within the JCC program departments including: Early Childhood Education, Youth, Teens & Camping, Jewish Arts & Culture, Health & Wellness, and Life Enrichment. You are the ideal candidate if:

  • You work independently and take charge of your own results.
  • You maintain a high level of activity while managing multiple priorities.
  • You’re confident and responsive, and you take initiative to make things happen.
  • You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit — you embrace new opportunities and thrive in a constantly evolving and creative environment.
  • You communicate clearly and persuasively with all types of people.
  • You understand how to grow and measure impact in an organization serving community members
  • You know how to effectively balance the needs of the community with the financial sophistication required to build a healthy and sustainable organization
  • You can ensure our program offerings are built upon Jewish culture and values - you have knowledge of Judaism and/or previous experience working with the Jewish community
  • You are great at building partnerships and alliances — you exude energy, positivity, and confidence and love the challenge of meeting new people and maximizing impact.
  • You study the future — you’re adept at making connections that others can’t see in order to anticipate the future needs of the community you serve. Your market intelligence proficiencies will allow the MN JCC to remain ahead of the curve.
  • You are a strong communicator and coach — you’re passionate about guiding others to learn, grow, and reach greater levels of success.
