WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Chief Residents live in residence and are a visible, approachable presence in halls.
During your shifts you will be located in a central common area, where students may approach you for advice. You will provide general peer-to-peer support and signpost students to appropriate support services.
As well as planning your own events, Chief residents provide leadership to Senior Residents and Junior Common Room Committees to ensure their events are designed and delivered to a high standard. With the support of the Inclusive Communities team, you will be ensuring the events and activities in your hall are inclusive and responsive to the needs of the students in residence.
You will also be asked to support the delivery of events organised by the Inclusive Communities team.
