WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 10+ years of leadership experience, specifically defining human capital strategy and organizational charts, filling those roles in funds and a variety of businesses / teams across industries simultaneously

  • 8+ year experience working for a visionary entrepreneur driven company and understanding how to lead within it, demonstrated success with minimum 2 years of founder interactions - driving human capital strategy and aligning it with business strategy and needs

  • Proven success in leading the hiring process for Private Equity / Multi-business / Family offices with an expertise in highly regulated product categories - e.g. medical devices/dietary supplements/cannabis/alcohol
  • Track record of working across functional business areas (marketing, sales, ops, finance) and hiring executive level roles
  • Articulate, inspirational, and persuasive businesses communication skills
  • Startup or fast growing company experience, proven experience of growing companies from early stage to mid-stage or beyond
  • Strong ability to amplify deep business knowledge across a wide range of topics and domain areas, i.e. tax, M&A, global business, balance score cards, functional competency.
  • Health and wellness and/or tech talent acquisition experience
  • Strong experience with using linkedin recruiter to generate and hire candidates in diverse rolls
  • Experience leading, hiring, and developing a high-performing talent acquisition team
  • Have experience implementing recruiting tools and processes
  • Experience and savviness in Identifying and deploying AI-driven tools and platforms for efficient talent acquisition and management.
  • Data oriented, ability to leverage recruiting decisions from recruiting data analytics
  • Tech savvy (G-Suite, ATS, Microsoft Office, Recruiting Platforms and Job Boards)
  • Ability to communicate and understand the needs of hiring managers and be able to translate that into job descriptions and job searches
  • Creative and strategic sourcing experience
  • MBA required

Partner with the CEO, President, and senior leaders to make recommendations and provide guidance on how to best build a people strategy that achieves an aggressive growth agenda

  • Enhance the employer brand that stands out from the competition by leading a cross functional team of Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Leadership
  • Build, manage and mentor industry specific talent acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement and time-quality results in the recruitment function
  • Work with senior team to set business strategy and link human capital strategy
  • Define best in the world visions for all roles for companies in portfolios
  • Hire leadership for business units CEO, MD, COO and work with leaders to build out there team
  • Virtual bench for all key roles
  • Network industry and executive relationship to fill boards and boards of advisors with strategic resources unlocking growth and capability
  • Consult on workforce planning and organizational design with leadership to ensure delivery on explosive growth of the business
  • Lead independent discussions with hiring managers as needed
  • Provide best practices and process improvements throughout the talent acquisition cycle
  • Tech-driven mindset to implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance our organizational capabilities, ensuring we remain competitive and innovative in the rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Develop process for tracking of KPIs and implement strategy for individuals and team success to consistently reach goals and KPIs
  • Manage the process for researching roles, developing job descriptions, competencies, goals, and KPIs for every role.
  • Drive strategy for outbound sourcing through LinkedIn and other tools.
  • Oversee candidate experience from sourcing to success in their role.
  • Lead creation and development of recruiting reports to understand where improvements can be made
  • Implement new hiring tools and resources
  • Implement recruiting best practices
  • Build a recruiting team - hire, mentor, and manage junior and mid-level recruiters

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will work with our visionary founder to develop and expand the talent acquisition strategies across a group of owned and invested portfolio companies. You will report to the fund president and work closely with our founder. The scope of roles will include the frontline all the way through to the CEO. You will work with senior leadership to define the human capital strategy and the organizational chart for the fund and operating businesses. Working on companies, not roles, you will hire and manage teams of talent acquisition specialists in a wide variety of disciplines, including CPG, manufacturing, technology, healthcare, construction and development, and professional services. Rather than hiring roles, you will be accountable for driving the realization of business strategy, have a seat at the table, and stake in the action in the most valuable conversations.
This role will be a key member of the global senior leadership teams, who are innovative and forward-thinking, and you will sit at the forefront of creating and adapting talent strategies to meet strategic business decisions. You will have the space and ability to think creatively to bring in world-class talent to meet the needs of the business. This individual is also accountable for all aspects of developing, communicating, and executing the talent acquisition strategy in support of the overall global business plan and strategic direction of the company, specifically in the areas of talent acquisition, succession planning, talent management, organizational design and restructuring, and operations. Strong leadership experience is a must, and experience working in a fast-paced environment for a hard driving founder is required.
