OVERVIEW

As the business continues to scale, we are seeking an exceptional technology leader and visionary to drive the technical strategy and innovation roadmap for our fast-growing fintech company ONE.io. As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology development, architecture, and implementation across our industry-leading products and services.
You must lay the foundations for growth and work closely with the CEO and Founder to create a robust scalable technology architecture that can anticipate and keep pace with the growth of the business.
The ideal candidate will have experience of building complex multi-product financial systems and will need to be sufficiently hands-on to cope with the immediate priorities but also a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. You will also need to be somebody who is both at the forefront and a leader in technology but still detail oriented.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Significant experience in software engineering leadership roles
• Prior leadership experience in a mid-stage start-up or high growth business
• Proven track record of successfully delivering institutional-grade, highly-available, highly-reliable systems
• Experience of scaling a platform, which already serves users globally, within a regulated security environment including ISO 27001, PCI and associated management processes
• Experience managing globally distributed engineering teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong knowledge of core technologies for high traffic large-scale platforms and backends (AWS - Amazon Web Services, .Net (C#), React, Postgresql, Terraform, etc.)
• Deep understanding of services based architecture and management of third parties including API management, SLAs and performance management
• Strong knowledge of data engineering, big data ecosystems, data governance
• Strong customer empathy and be product driven, easily relating to the customer needs and desires that are being served
