Aim of the role: The post holder will be expected to support their team, department, and organisation to achieve the Trusts Values in their day-to-day work. The post holder will achieve this by Managing a caseload of children with complex needs who require Specialist Nursing input. Leading the Child Development Nursing Team to provide excellent standards of care to improve the lives of children with Complex Needs and their families.
Being a proactive member of the Multidisciplinary Team Participate in the development and implementation of high standards of clinical care ensuring the service provided is positively viewed by service users. The post holder will be a Registered Sick Childrens Nurse responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care, including being professionally and legally accountable. The post holder will support their peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. They will supervise pre-registration students.
They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
