Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work within the Nottingham Children’s Diabetes Team.
The successful candidate will join the established service in caring for children with type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, steroid induced diabetes and monogenic diabetes.
You will be largely hospital based with a responsibility to see children in the inpatient and outpatient settings, liaise with families, company reps and support patients and families to receive high quality care.

The successful candidate will work as a clinical support worker within an established multi-professional team caring for children and young people with type 1, type 2, steroid induced and monogenic diabetes.
You will be hospital based supporting inpatient care, providing basic education and support for families. You will also support multi professional clinics and aid the running of the clinics by downloading technologies as well as identifying patients requiring annual reviews.
You will be responsible for maintaining a variety of databases as well as ordering equipment and the monitoring and ordering stock.
We are involved in a variety of research projects and the successful candidate will also be involved in these projects both within the hospital and wider network
