SOME OF THE REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- The Statement of Attainment in Food Handling SITSS00050-V01 | TAFE NSW or training.gov.au - SIT30821 - Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificate
- Current NSW Working with Children Check and the ability to meet Child Protection Act requirements.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the preparation of nutritional food and beverages for children (0-6 years) in an early childhood environment.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our friendly Early Learning Centre to prepare wholesome and delicious meals for the children in our care.
As the Cook, you will be responsible for planning and producing nutritional meals, drinks and snacks for children from six weeks of age through to children up to six years of age. You will be required to deliver meals, drinks and snacks, within allocated budgets and according to standards set by relevant statutory authorities, including Council. You will contribute to Council’s overall commitment to healthy living and well-being, through participating in an education and care program that enriches and enhances children’s lives and compliments their families’ beliefs.
