ChildSafe Australia, a part of SU Australia, is dedicated to “Enabling organisations to create trusted, safe environments for children, young people, and those that care for them.” We are looking for a passionate and skilled Training Manager to join our team and lead our mission forward.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary qualifications in education, learning and development, social work, psychology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs and resources.
- Strong leadership experience within a learning and development team.
- Excellent customer consulting skills to identify needs and deliver tailored outcomes.
- Familiarity with child safety legislation and best practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to stay informed on changes in legislation and practice in child safety.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- As the ChildSafe Training Manager, you will oversee a team of Training Contractors, Auditors, and Consultants to deliver high-quality training and services that help our client organisations ensure the safety of children and young people. You will also personally deliver a substantial amount of training, tailoring resources to meet the unique needs of our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage a team of training professionals.
- Develop and deliver training programs and resources that address the specific needs of client organisations.
- Research and integrate changes in relevant legislation and best practices into our training materials.
- Update and support our trainers to maintain the highest standards of child safety.
- Respond to client needs and provide effective consulting services.
- Work in a hybrid capacity, combining remote work with office presence in Melbourne.
- Travel and occasionally work flexible hours, with time-in-lieu arrangements.
