Binnie is looking for a Highway Design Engineer- EIT to join our Highway Design Division full time in our Burnaby office. Our Highway Design team has been recognized for notable projects including the detailed design of over 30 km of Highway 29, the four laning of Highway 1 through Chase, and the Highway 91 and 72nd Avenue interchange in Delta.
You will work closely with our talented and diverse team of experienced Project Managers and Engineers at varied experience levels. This dynamic and challenging role offers excellent mentorship opportunities.
You will work with our supportive team of Engineers and Project Managers. You will carry out design work on projects from conceptual level through to detailed design and construction. This challenging role offers great mentorship opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D
  • Performing design work in consultation with the Engineer of Record
  • Preparing reports, manuals, and technical memorandums
  • Ensuring quality control procedures are completed as per Binnie’s Organizational Quality Management (OQM) Policy
  • Ensuring that project designs and calculations adhere to standards
