Binnie is looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join our Northern Division full-time in our Prince George office. Prince George is known as the “Northern Capital” of BC and is the largest city in the north with a growing economy and population in need of strong engineering infrastructure work.
Our Northern Division specializes in highway design, project management and engineering infrastructure solutions throughout Northern BC.
You will work closely with our talented and diverse team of experienced Engineers and Project Managers at varied experience levels. This dynamic and challenging role offers excellent mentorship opportunities.
You will work with our supportive team of Engineers and Project Managers. You will carry out design work on projects from conceptual level through to detailed design and construction.

• Preparing design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D
• Performing design work in consultation with the Engineer of Record
• Preparing reports, manuals, and technical memorandums
• Ensuring quality control procedures are completed as per Binnie’s Organizational Quality Management (OQM) Policy
• Ensuring that project designs and calculations adhere to standards
