We have two exciting opportunities for a Civil Designer/Engineer and a Senior Civil Designer/Engineer to join our Brisbane team. These fantastic roles will suit experienced people who are looking to work on various projects in a friendly and supportive team with a growing market leader.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (for the Engineering position)
• Minimum 5+ years of civil engineering design experience in land development
• Residential subdivision design, including earthworks, roads, drainage, water and sewer
• Local QLD experience preferred
• Stormwater management modelling (desirable)

• Undertake documentation and design tasks with a demonstrated working knowledge in the use 12D and Auto CAD (minimum requirement)
• XP-Rafts, DRAINS, TUFLOW and MUSIC (desirable but not essential)
• Develop innovative solutions to problems and take necessary action to expedite the successful accomplishment of assigned projects.
• Coordinate design and drafting activities with drafters to provide drawing sets to Orion Standards.
• Liaise with various project stakeholders including; clients, consultants and relevant Authorities.
• Manage the invoicing and budgeting of projects.
• Ensure work output is of a technically high standard and meets client needs.
• Provide technical support to peers, as well mentor junior staff to further develop the knowledge base and assist in career progression.
• Assist with growing and developing the company and its engineering standards to help provide a unique and modern design methodologies
• Adoption, promotion, and adherence to Orion’s Quality Management (QMS) and Work Health & Safety (WHS) Systems.
