Hays Recruitment are looking for an experienced Civil Designer to join a Perth Hills Local Government on a temporary basis with permanent opportunity.

YOUR NEW ROLE

Reporting to the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, drafting and estimating municipal works and projects as required. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Preparing detailed engineering plans and designs for road works, traffic management schemes, stormwater drainage
• Preparing accurate schedules and quantities and design estimates using predetermined rates
• Raising and receipt Purchase Orders
• Supporting with enquiries from Officers from other departments on engineering related matters
• Liaising with the public and answering enquiries

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in the use of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current ‘C’ class driver’s license
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of Civil Infrastructure Project
