JOB INFORMATION

• Primary point of contact for all technical issues relating to the Section Designer, and provides feedback on all commercial and contractual matters as requested by the Technical Manager.
• Manages, develops and coordinates the project design process to ensure that it meets the Client’s specifications, the design work program is met, meets the planned budget and is constructible, respecting environmental, health and safety, quality and legal.
• Coordinates with the client and third parties the design of the project to obtain final approval.
• Responsible for creating the list of design deliverables and associating them with the design work plan.
• Leads, with the support of his team, the technical review of all design deliverables for his section.
• Identify and look for optimizations, as well as opportunities that generate value engineering for the project.
• Coordinates with other designers involved in the design, such as the Independent Reviewer, temporary works designers, specialized subcontractors, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Civil Engineer, generalist with a good foundation in specialization in Tunnels or Geotechnics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in: Design and Construction project with knowledge of project development and its implementation on site.
• Knowledge of tunnel, structure and road projects
