CIVIL ENGINEER – INDUSTRIAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Civil Engineer. This role is based in our Burlington office, however, please note we are working in a hybrid model with flexibility to work from home.
We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise and drive, that can assist our Industrial and infrastructure projects.
About the role:
- A client facing and technical role within the Consulting Business Line
- Managing projects, deliverables, sub-consultants, and designers
- Preparing engineering designs in accordance with schedules and budgets
- Perform site visits, inspections, preparation of reports, functional and detailed design relating to water and wastewater distribution and collection system, storm water management facilities, grading and bulk earthworks, parking lots and roads.
- As applicable, act as engineer of record or discipline lead, providing direction to drafting and engineering staff in the preparation of designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications and cost estimates for civil projects.
- Dealing with Municipalities, Agencies, Contractors, and Owners
- Effectively applying Ausenco methodology and enforcing project standards that contribute to quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with project managers and various disciplines engineers and ensure consistency in execution of civil design activities to complete project work on time, on budget, and within the quality standards.
- Willingness to coach and mentor team member to build business capability.
