Description:

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you’ll be MEng/BEng qualified and preferably professionally qualified as either an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer. You will have extensive experience of working with a range of clients, including major developers/contractors, local authorities, and National Highways.
You will have a proven ability to deliver the technical elements of a highway design whilst co-ordinating the wider aspects of multi-disciplinary projects to achieve the client goals. Therefore, we are looking for people who can deliver throughout the entire lifecycle – from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery. Experience of using Civils 3D and/or InfoDrainage is advantageous.
We are looking for creative problem solvers who are tactical thinkers, effective at communicating and have a passion for challenging technical standards to tackle climate change and drive innovation through your design.
You will play an important role within our team. You will support the production of designs, analysis and assessment for all types and scales of highway and development projects. You will mentor and guide more junior Engineer and Technician colleagues in the effective delivery of outputs to agreed deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Following several recent project wins within both the development and local highway sectors we are looking to expand our Birmingham team and are seeking to recruit a Civil Engineer with experience in infrastructure or highways. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team working on a range of projects such as large, 4,000+ homes, Strategic Urban Extensions through to local authority major projects, such as the M5 J1 improvement.
We have been at the heart of community development in the Birmingham and the Midlands for a number of years. Our multi-disciplinary team works on a diverse range of projects from local community infrastructure schemes to strategic national projects. We are fortunate to work with an excellent range of clients in the Midlands and beyond and our client-focused approach has enhanced our reputation as one of the leading consultancies, both locally and nationally.
Your role will be varied and challenging, but you will be joining an ambitious and expanding company offering the opportunity to take your career to the next level. Did we mention we were named the Consulting Firm of the Year at the 2023 NCE Awards recognised for our market success, as well as our focus on people and culture?
