Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our growing transport business delivers transport Infrastructure projects across state government, municipal and private sectors. We ensure the delivery of complex roads & highway projects whilst working collaboratively with team members to ensure positive outcomes.

DAY TO DAY TASKS WOULD INVOLVE:

  • Civil engineering designs for roads, highways, utilities and other transport infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare design documentation, technical reports and client’s specifications.
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards.
  • Provide specialist technical input and advice into technical activities, including but not limited to feasibility studies, report writing and civil design.
  • Prepare and check engineering calculations, drawings, technical specifications and scopes of work.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience within a civil infrastructure project environment (with specific exposure to roads and highways)
  • Experience working on Main Roads or Public Transport Authority projects advantageous
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and encourage collaboration
  • Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
