THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL HAVE:

• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or similar from a recognised institution
• Relevant work experience in a civil/geotechnical engineering consultancy;
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil3D;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Thorough and accurate;
• The ability to manage workload to meet project deadlines;

Reporting to the Aukland Manager and Drafting Team Leader, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Provide drafting support and documentation. E.g. converting coordinate grid systems, geo-referencing aerial photographs, drafting figures and design drawings
• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks and take responsibility for accuracy and quality of your work
• Work within the technical team to develop, provide and promote technical solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
• Maintain high technical standards and professional work ethic
• Monitor project progress against budget to ensure cost overruns are avoided
• Develop robust professional relationships at work
• Be able to prioritise your workload in conjunction with the Team leader as needed
• Other duties and tasks as require
