The Opportunity
CPP are moving into a major delivery period with projects moving into the construction phase and we are looking for skilled and talented people to join our growing New South Wales team.
Initially, you will be based on our Orana BESS project located near Wellington NSW. It will have a capacity of 415MW and provide up to 8 hours or 1660MWh of energy storage, delivered in up to two stages.
Please note that travel on an 11/3 roster is a requirement of this role.
Responsibilities
Completing civil electrical infrastructure works
Provide daily instruction and direct supervision of labour and plant to ensure the allocated areas of the project are completed in accordance with HSEQ and project-specific requirements.
Consult with Project Manager/Supervisors to plan and coordinate site activities to meet program and budget.
Liaise with Project Manager/Supervisors regularly to ensure they are kept informed of all project production, labour, and resource matters.
Maintain a safe environment by promoting and adhering to the Company’s HSEQ standards.
Prepare accurate timesheets and daily works records for project resource utilisation under their supervision.
Promote risk management and identify opportunities for improvement.
As required, lead and conduct toolbox talks, safety discussions, pre-starts.

Proven track record in Civil Electrical infrastructure works
Experience in successfully leading civil construction projects.
Exceptional individual and team leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to deliver tasks within the required time frames.
A commitment to developing and maintaining a culture of safety and health above all else.
