Description:

They currently have an immediate vacancy for a Civil Project Engineer to work regionally and contribute to the rapid growth of their companies portfolio. The successful candidate will:
- Hold qualifications in Engineering
- Demonstrate experience in civil works including roads, earthworks, drainage
- Strong commercial acumen, cost management and financial reporting skills
- Expert knowledge of the relevant health & safety legislation
Reporting to the Project Manager, in this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing project scope, program of works, resource requirements
- Managing budgets, quality and safety standards
- Client liaison
- Cost Control
- Management and supervision of assigned staff
- Subcontractor management
- Contract & Claims administration
- Planning & coordination
- Ensure compliance with OH&S, contractual and legal obligations
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team’s objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
