The incumbent is responsible for the conceptualization, estimation, and timely and cost-effective execution of civil and structural design works and other related engineering projects for geothermal the Fluid Collection and Recycling System (FCRS), geo-hazard assessments, landslide mitigating measures, land surveys, geotechnical investigations, Power Plant facilities and other EDC projects (i.e., hydro, wind, solar and CSR), following applicable Engineering Codes and Standards. He/She shall assist in the conduct of value engineering of all its proposed engineering designs through careful evaluation of project design alternatives and cost optimization to reduce capital and life cycle cost, design-time, and consequently enhancing project quality, value, and profitability. Supports the improvement and standardization studies of civil and structural engineering processes (design criteria and tolerances/guidelines, procedures, technical specifications) used in projects across the organization
