Description:
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
The Civil/Structural Engineer, Substation and FACTs (Flexible A.C. Transmission Systems) will join the GT GS engineering team to support bid and execution projects for HV electrical substations. Your responsibilities will include performing, reviewing, coordinating, structural analysis and design of civil and structural works such as yard equipment foundations (shallow or deep foundations), equipment steel support structures, baseplate and anchorage, connections and building steel structure.
Additional responsibilities will include reviewing supplier engineering schedules, claims, non-conformances, field technical support and field inspections.
This role will report to the GT GS Engineering Manager.
