Are you a seasoned Civil Supervisor looking to make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy sector? Our client, a global leader in clean energy solutions are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Supervisor to join their team on their exciting project in Gladstone QLD
About this role
Based in Gladstone QLD the focus of this role will be to ensure the Earthworks Contractors schedule, and budget constraints, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
This position requires a blend of construction and technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Civil Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating delivery of:
- Earthworks and Site Drainage
- Concrete Structures, including walls, slabs, footings and piles
- Inground Utilities
- Roads and Pavements
- Finished Surface
- Coordination and facilitation of Contractor works, ensuring the scope is delivered to schedule and budget, including review of Contractor documentation and reporting, and attendance at regular Contractor meeting
- Work closely with the Environment and Approvals team to ensure contractor compliance.
- Ensuring the work undertaken by the Construction Contractors meets the project expectations
- Key interface for technical information between the Construction Contractor and the Designer
- Collaboration with the Contracts and Procurement team to process Contractor change orders and variations.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design changes, field reports, and correspondence.
- Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
