JOB DESCRIPTION

The Claims and Disputes Specialist will work on the quality assurance side of the team to quality check claims investigators’ work to help minimize errors before approvals. We are seeking someone with a strong attention to detail to look for any gaps to ensure compliance by following proper procedures and processes. Ideally we are seeking a candidate with Reg E knowledge who has experience working in a fast-paced environment as this team reviews many claims from our investigations team daily. This position is multi-faceted and requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to retain knowledge and learn new forms of claim processing to assist other areas as necessary.
Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days. This role is hybrid in the following cities/states:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of related work experience, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Well-developed research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to competently work with various forms of technology, including transactions processing systems, risk management platforms, case management applications, research or analytical tools
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to follow defined procedures, policies and precedents
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate moderate problems with minimal guidance
  • Must be able to perform assigned work in a deadline sensitive environment
  • Competent clerical skills and strong attention to detail is necessary for all roles
