About the Company:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading commercial insurance broking firm based in the Melbourne CBD. Our client prides themselves on developing deep and meaningful relationships with its clientele and providing a premium service. Our client has recently started recruiting for a claims executive due to experiencing significant growth and wanting more hands on deck to maintain their quality standards. This role will allow the right candidate the opportunity to grow and develop their leaderships skills and provide a great trajectory for someone who wants to continue in the management space!

Day-Day Duties:

  • To provide professional claims handling service to clients, which is designed to offer solutions, fulfil client objectives, achieve the best possible cost outcomes.
  • To manage the day-to-day handling of claims.
  • Process, follow up and negotiate claims to the appropriate level of authority.
  • Maintain client claim files and ensure that the required level of service is of the highest standard until deemed closed and finalised.
  • Maintain and meet internal and external compliance requirements.
  • During periods of high risk i.e. hail and flood, ensure that Clients are kept on alert for potential events that may give rise to a major claim.
  • Contribute to the success of the Company by enhancing the Broker / Client relationship.
  • Ensure professional conduct is always maintained to positively promote the Company and Insurance industry.

The Candidate:

  • Excitied about the prospect of working full time in office
  • A passion for the commercial motor space
  • A minimum of 3 years of heavy motor end to end claims management
  • A dynamic mindset that looks to problem-solve autonomously
