Company: Multiple Claims Officer job opportunities are currently available to join a market leading automotive service that is reputable for their fun and supportive environment. Our client has a strong focus on accident management and replacement vehicles.
The Claims Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of repair and hire claims, providing exceptional service to customers in a timely manner.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience working in a customer service/claims assessing/administrator role within the insurance and/or financial services industry
  • Previous motor claims experience desirable but not a must
  • A relevant degree in Economics, Finance & Commerce desirable
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication, showcasing resilience and empathy when dealing with complex situatons
  • Strong attention to details, problem-solving skills and an investigative mind

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied portfolio of repair and hire car claims
  • Engage with clients insurance companies and repairers to progress claims and ensure that we are informed of the claims progress and maintain details to enable recovery on all claims
  • Accurately assess files to ensure each claim will be recoverable at the end of the hire period
  • Being a key decision maker for a claim to ensure they are set up for success by gathering and interpreting relevant information and documentation to form an appropriate claim strategy
  • Manage timelines and ensure that all hire documentation is completed, decisions and actions are made in a timely fashion
  • Take inbound calls to manage enquiries and support stakeholders
