Description:

CLÄRCHENS BALLHAUS

The historic Berlin institution turns 111 Fall 2024, and for this reason opens its magical doors in a fresh new light. Inside, a beautiful restaurant will emerge, telling the stories of the past decades and guiding guests through traditional German cuisine with a flair. Additionally, the historic Spiegelsaal and the Private Dining Room in the conservatory will be lovingly awakened from their winter slumber and made available to guests from near and far to continue the tradition of spectacular parties and dance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 + years acting as a Bartender, Server or Host; in high volume, high touch, Food & Beverage environments.
  • Supply our Guests with in depth knowledge of all Food & Beverage menu items, and ensure the quality of all items delivered are meeting the high standards set by the Clärchens F&B Leadership team.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all Food & Beverage menus throughout the season, and the ability to articulate to our Guests in an engaged and thoughtful manner.
  • Execution of the order of service in a timely and accurate manner with the goal of creating a memorable service.
  • The capacity to work within an ever-changing environment, and the willingness to support in other areas as required to maintain the integrity of the Clärchens operations.
  • Aid to instill an excellent work environment, working alongside a diverse group of humans from various experiences, countries, and cultures together centered up teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Solution oriented and taking pride in the details, our Service Team builds, delivers and stewards the moments that define the Clärchens experience for our Guests.
  • Consistent communication with all team members to ensure delivery of Food & Beverage to our Guests in a timely manner, and alerting Management when running low on a particular item.
  • Proficient use of Point of Sale hardware for ordering and billing purposes.
  • Cash handling and guest billing communication skills always held with the upmost professionalism.
  • Daily pre and post, set-up and breakdown of the Rosengarten requirements as instructed by our Clärchens F&B Leadership.
  • Able to work days + nights / Friday - Sunday will be required with this role.

Our Clärchens Rosengarten Pop-Up Team are fantastic multitaskers whose constant workflow consists of; friendly greetings, knowledgeable menu recommendations, cocktail making, wine service, and food delivery, whilst always providing a seamless experience for our Guests.
Our team offer’s professional service in a timely manner, understanding all aspects of the operation in the highly visible, high volume environment of the Clärchens Rosengarten Sommer Pop-Up. Reporting into the Clärchens General Manager, the role entails all aspects of the service operations, and represents Clärchens Ballhaus with hospitality and generosity in every interaction.
