Description:
THE POSITION
The Department of Human Resources is now hiring a Classification and Compensation Analyst II to join our team! This is a limited-duration opportunity with an expected 2-year duration.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced human resources professional with comprehensive skills in collaboration, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail with a strong desire to learn and grow in their HR knowledge. This position will be responsible for conducting classification analyses, managing classifications and position descriptions, and performing audits and salary surveys.
Work is typically performed Monday - Friday during normal business hours, with occasional before or after hours work as necessary. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days remote work as approved by the supervisor.

While classification and compensation experience is helpful, the ideal candidate will strive in a work team that values creative freedom, driven by data integrity, excellent time management abilities, skills to troubleshoot and adapt a plan to encourage conflict resolution, and a willingness to adapt and learn on a regular basis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Science, Business Administration, or a related field; AND Two (2) years of professional Human Resources experience related to the position. OR
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Science, Business Administration, or a related field ; AND Four (4) years of professional Human Resources experience related to the position. OR
- High school diploma/GED and six (6) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position.
