ABOUT THE ROLE

Our fabulous Greenwich Gardens Village are looking for a Domestic Aid/Cleaner to join our team. We’re passionate about enabling people to get the very most out of their retirement; and we’re just as committed to helping our team get the most out of their careers. We are looking for someone who takes pride in making their place of work ‘gleam’ with cleanliness.

Some of the great things you will be doing

• Ensuring our Care home is kept Clean and Tidy
• Maintaining a safe working environment for our staff
• Ensuring our Residents environment is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness.
• General laundry work for our resident

The ability to work unsupervised as well as being a supportive member of the team will be a bonus. You will appreciate how important this position is in delivering an outstanding service to our residents, so you will have empathy for the older person; excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate fashion; and an industrious, diligent approach to ensuring that the job is done to the highest standards.

• Cleaning experience Domestic and or commercial preferred but is not essential
• Laundry experience a bonus
• Safe handling of chemicals training a bonus -but we can provide training
• Excellent English skills
