Cleaning Operative

• OVERVIEW:Responsible for general cleaning duties, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Vacuum carpets and mop/buff floors.
• Clean toilets and polish glass/brass surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely (per COSHH guidelines).
• Display safety signage during cleaning operations.
• Report defects and safety issues promptly.
• Maintain security awareness and report suspicious activities.
• Undertake job-related training as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• Good work record, with previous cleaning experience desirable.
• Experience with cleaning equipment desirable.
• Basic health and safety knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Flexible, honest, and reliable.WORKING PATTERN:Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.Ref. 13143
