Monbeef, a leading provider of high-quality meat products, is currently seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead our team of Cleaners at our state-of-the-art processing facility in Cooma, NSW. For this role, we need someone who can lead and motivate a team and welcome candidates who are reliable, and eager to learn. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the cleaning team perform critical work by ensuring our operational areas are cleaned and sanitised thoroughly. The team work from 4pm - midnight Monday to Friday with occasional work on Sundays needed.
Job Description

In this role, you will:

• Lead and motivate a small Cleaning team, ensuring team development and training.
• Clean and sanitise our operational areas, ensure all team members are following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Remove waste and debris, ensuring proper disposal and adherence to waste management procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment, tools, and surfaces to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to create a hazard-free workplace.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role, you won’t need experience, but you will need:

• Australian working rights
• The ability to give clear direction and lead a small team
• To be motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic
• To be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting.
