Cleaning supervisor Job Description :
A Cleaning Supervisor oversees the operations of a cleaning team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities include scheduling staff, inspecting facilities, ordering supplies, and resolving customer complaints.
Cleaning supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
Inspect and evaluate the work of cleaning staff to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Train and develop cleaning staff to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned timely and thoroughly
Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Respond to and resolve customer complaints related to cleaning services
Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure that cleaning staff are working in a safe environment
Prepare reports and maintain records of cleaning operations and staff performance for review by management
Cleaning supervisor Requirements:
Proven experience as a cleaning supervisor or similar role
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
Ability to create and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team of cleaners
Attention to detail and ability to identify areas that need improvement
Ability to handle and resolve conflicts or issues that arise within the team
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning
Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities and schedules
