Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Clearance, Access and Reporting Enterprise Adverse Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO! This position will be responsible for reporting and processing Adverse and Derogatory information for security disciplines across the enterprise.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI
  • 3 + years of experience in Industrial Security

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience

TYPICAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Migrates Internal Adverse reporting workflows across the enterprise
  • Mitigates, document and report Adverse information for personnel in accordance with Customer/Government requirements
  • Improves and streamlines internal action process reporting flow across stakeholders (e.g. FSOs, CPSOs, CSSO) to close adverse collection, processing and reporting gaps across the enterprise
  • Centralizes and standardizes adverse record retention for rapid retrieval during government audits, inspections and inquiries
  • Coordinates Polygraph Examinations for site personnel in accordance with government customer requirements
  • Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  • Identifies deficiencies, develop and implements corrective action
  • Communicates results to security management, stakeholders and customers
  • Documents corrective actions as required in the various databases (eBIS, EPSS, DISS, JADE, etc.)
  • Reports Government Security Inspection (GSI) culpable party(ies) violation on personnel, processes and situations through internal and external channels in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Contributes and participate in enterprise Process Action Teams (PATs) for decision-making processes and procedures
  • Creates & disseminates Adverse Reporting Business Process Instructions (BPI’s) and Desktop Instructions (DI’s) for the Clearance, Access and Reporting Enterprise teams
  • Facilitates training to educate and inform enterprise personnel on Adverse Reporting actions and requirements
