The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity is available at Storm Village for a Full Time Clerical Assistant.
You will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the home and people calling, speaking with residents and their families and loved ones on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for rostering of all staff so experience in rostering is a must for your application to stand out amongst the rest.

Responsibilities:

Provide general clerical support including work processing, desktop publishing, photocopying, filing and general office administration including:

  • Answering phone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Assisting with departmental communication and paperwork including mail pickup and delivery
  • Maintaining accurate lists and databases, issuing as required by the Manager.
  • Maintaining appropriate stationery supplies and assist with the ordering of other supplies.
  • Attend and record minutes of team meetings.
  • Assist with the on boarding of new employees including preparation, collation and forwarding of paperwork as appropriate.
  • Facilitate the ordering of uniforms, including distribution and collation of order forms, coordinate the delivery and return of garments.
  • Under the direction of the Manager, complete rosters and time sheets, payroll summaries and End of Month reports.
  • Reconcile invoices for payment to creditors monthly.
