Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer within our busy Children’s Therapy Support Team to work primarily at Coral House, Shrewsbury.
You will be welcomed into a supportive team with on the job training provided to develop your skills.
The NHS offers a pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlements on a pro-rata basis. There would also be the opportunity to work towards an apprenticeship qualification e.g. Business Administration Level 3.
The successful candidate will provide an efficient, effective, streamlined and high-quality clerical service supporting Children’s Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy and covering a busy reception as required. Therefore, experience of dealing with a wide range of people both on the telephone and in person is essential.

To provide an efficient, effective, streamlined and high quality clerical support to the Children’s Therapy Service (Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy) and/or CDC’s.
To be the first point of contact for the service on behalf of the Children’s Therapy Service and/or CDC’s for professionals, both internally and externally of the NHS, whilst maintaining effective and efficient communication skills over the telephone, by letter and email.
To maintain strict confidentiality at all times and to work within the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
To maintain electronic patient record systems, for example RiO, ensuring that all relevant information is captured accurately including onward referral and clinical tracking processes.
