Full Time, 6mth Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Clerical Officer in our Cork hospital.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator around oncology and non-oncology multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Liaising with all stakeholders in relation to coordination of MDT meetings.
  • Provide support in the development of quality monitors database and development of reports.
  • Provide an administrative role in relation to the hospital’s Joint Commission International accreditation
  • Provide support to Quality & Risk Manager for other accreditation programmes including Endoscopy and Oncology
  • Support the coordination of quality key performance indicators at a hospital and departmental level

The ideal candidate will

  • Have previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment, have advanced administrative skills as well as strong attention to detail
  • Be patient focused with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
