Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Quality & Risk Manager and Risk Manager.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of all adverse incident data on the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
  • Ensure timely escalation of serious adverse events to the Quality and Risk Manager.
  • Management of the MUH National Incident Management System (NIMS).
  • Provide in classroom/virtual training on the incident reporting process and completion of National Incident Report Forms (NIRF.)
  • Assist with queries relation to NIRF completion.
  • Preparation of Quarterly and Annual Incident reports for relevant departments/committees.
  • Preparation of additional reports as requested by the Quality and Risk Manager
  • Provide administrative support to The Open Disclosure Team
  • Maintain a register of staff who have completed online Open Disclosure Training
  • Coordinate training workshops on Open Disclosure for staff relevant
  • Provide administrative support to The Policy Approval Committee (PAC)
  • Point of contact for Policy Approval Committee (PAC) queries
  • Assist staff with formatting and submission of Policy, Procedures, Protocols & Guidelines (PPPG’s) to PAC.
  • Ensure that all approved polices are uploaded to the MUH Intranet and that old versions of policies are archived.
  • Liaise with all relevant person in relation to the update of PPPG’s within MUH.
  • Provide administrative support to The Children’s First Committee.
  • Provide administrative support to the Personal Protective (PPE) sub-committee.
  • Attend relevant meetings (PAC, Open Disclosure, PPE subcommittee, Children’s First Committee) and ensure that minutes or records of meetings are prepared and followed up on behalf of the Quality & Risk Manager with relevant Managers or Departments.
  • Provide support to the Quality Coordinator in preparing reports for internal/external bodies.
  • Assist with the processing of complaints as required.
  • Provide support to the Information Officer in the processing of Information Requests.
  • Assist as required with the processing of Clinical Audits
  • Assist with the arrangement and organisation of the annual Clinical Quality & Audit Improvement Day
  • Contribute and collaborate with members of the Quality Risk Management Team in reaching departmental and organizational objective(s).
